Kashkuli

The highest quality rugs made in the Khamseh Federation of South West Persia are the ones made by the Kashkuli tribe. This 19^th century small rug, covered completely with delicately drawn “boteh” motifs on a dark blue ground, is representative of its kind. Surrounded by a wonderful white border, gives the impression of a textile rather than a carpet. Excellent quality wool and woven with great craftmanship.
