Kashkuli

The highest quality rugs made in the Khamseh Federation of South West Persia are the ones made by the Kashkuli tribe. This 19th century small rug, covered completely with delicately drawn “boteh” motifs on a dark blue ground, is representative of its kind. Surrounded by a wonderful white border, gives the impression of a textile rather than a carpet. Excellent quality wool and woven with great craftmanship.
