Art Deco Fab. Bauhaus

During the 1920s some German machine made rugs appeared in the market, inspired by the Art Deco era and the Bauhaus movement. Some of them were woolen, others were made of cotton and few were made of lutre like the present one. Due to the small number of pieces originally made and even fewer surviving nowadays, these pieces are mostly collectable. Ours is one of the most representative examples of this period, both in terms of palette and design.
