Saruk

Central Persia has been a very important center of carpet manufacture since the 16^th century. Saruk rugs like the present amazing piece, have become very popular worldwide from the end of the 19^th century onwards due to their carefully selected designs and their fabulous color combinations, which make them timeless. Our particular Saruk was made in the famous Mohajeran workshop during the first decade of the 20^th century.
