Bokhara Nim Suzani

Small size Suzanis are called “Nim”. They were usually made by women belonging to wealthy families and were supposed to decorate young children’s bed.
Compared to all other types of Suzanis, only a small number survives.
Ours is a mid 19th century piece and a belongs to a rare group where the use of blue color is abundant and graciously covers the whole field in the form of blossoms.
A truly collectible item in perfect condition.
