Afghan Belouch

Produced in Afghanistan by the Beloutch tribes, this small silk and wool rug belongs to a very small group of exquisite rugs made in the 80’s. it has a classical Ladik format in every way, with the exception of the chandelier which usually appears hanging from the top center of the mihrab, substituted here by a Tree of Life emerging from a small vase. It consists of 80% silk and 20% wool. in excellent condition.
