Khotan

This impressive and unusual Khotan rug panel comes from the Eastern part of Central Asia. Made during the end of the 19^th century presents in full scale 4 large pots with extremely delicately drawn flower blossoms covering the upper half of the rug. Although the best and rarest are the ones made with silk, this particular panel is made with soft wool, dyed with excellent vegetable dyes. A highly decorative carpet.
