Karabagh Suzani

This silk Suzani made in Karabagh in the 1940’s is a large example of the embroideries made in the area during the Soviet Union era. It is typical of the taste of this region and period, bearing a characteristic red ground, covered with flower blossoms around a central medallion and is in perfect condition.
