Indian Embroidery

This colorful Indian embroidery made probably in the Jaipur district during the 1970’s, is a patch work of cotton and silk squares, with floral and linear motifs. It has been made for personal use, hence the freedom in the synthesis of the patches, which in fact, adds to the charm and character of the embroidery.
