ABOUT

Philippos Theodorides is a Cypriot, Athens- based artist, whose works are directly related to rhythmicality and expressionism. Gesture and composition are guided by instinct and spontaneous creativity. Abstract works, related to design aesthetics and minimalism, with music influences, record as a totality the artist’s expressive language.

One of the first visual artists to collaborate with Art Rug Projects, each handmade carpet maintains its own uniqueness, revealing new, fascinating aspects of the work – thanks to the luster, the texture and the color properties inherent in the materiality and the artisanal detail of the handmade carpet.
